A great use case we have supported OEMs recently is the requirement to build virtual testbeds for complex simulation testing. These electronic lab testbeds have the ability to allow engineers to directly or even remotely connect engineers for advanced testing of software/calibration against simulated environmental conditions, system tolerances or even driver behaviors.
Intrepid products have supported such kinds of lab environments through a variety of use cases from simulating network traffic or operation profiles, complete signal and raw network data logging for rare occurrence fault-finding. Touch screen control of the simulation or simply visualising network signals without the need for connecting a computer.
Intrepid was really pleased to stumble across an article published by Ford recently that showcased one of our VividCAN displays being used in such a testbed solution.
