neoVI PRO Setup

The neoVI Pro Setup screen is where the user can configure and setup the neoVI Pro.

Open neoVI PRO Setup by clicking on Tools and then neoVI PRO Setup.

To use the neoVI Pro setup screens, first physically connect your neoVI Pro.  Next, set the device port number and click "Connect".  Once a connection is established, four tabs will appear in the setup screen (Figure 1).  The first tab, Basic Setup, lets the user setup up the operating mode of neoVI Pro and to configure the power management for the device.

The first option is the Operating Mode for the device.  The options for this setting are as follows:

  1. Bus Decoder Normal - This mode uses decoded messages entered in the Messages Editor Receive table.  neoVI PRO decodes the messages on the neoVI PRO screen and outputs 10 signals on analog outputs.

  2. Bus Decoder J1979 - (Not available yet) This mode takes decoded J1979 signals and decodes them to the screen of neoVI Pro.

  3. Vehicle Spy Mini Mode - This mode allows the user to monitor function blocks, send messages, view message stats, run diagnostic jobs, and monitor signal groups.

  4. Custom Mode - Custom mode leaves the screen and buttons available for the user.
