Capture Type Function Block

Capture type function blocks capture network data to a buffer file for later analysis.  Various setup options fit the Capture function blocks to countless situations.  The options are configured using the setup tabs shown in Figure 1.

Unfiltered Auto Circular
 Large buffer size
Manual Click hotkey to save current data in a large, unfiltered buffer.
Unfiltered Auto Circular
 Very large buffer size
Expression Save a new buffer file at a periodic rate.
(Warning: Will fill up memory storage if not careful!)
Filtered Manual One-shot
 Small buffer size
Auto Click joystick button to make a small, filtered buffer file.
Filtered Auto Manual trigger
 Small pre / large post buffer
Auto Catch filtered data before and after a hotkey click.
Unfiltered Auto Expression trigger
 Large pre / small post buffer
Auto Store lots of data before a "very fast" event.
Filtered Expression Circular
 Large buffer size
Expression Trap data between specific events.
Script filter Expression Expression trigger
 Medium pre / medium post buffer
Expression Script filter + all expressions = ultimate flexibility.
