Function Block Command: Function Block Action

Basics:
The "Function Block Action" command provides control of other Function Blocks.

Details:
The Value for this command points to which Function Block to control and how to control it.  Figure 1 shows the configuration dialog.

The first parameter to select is the action, or what to do to the Function Block.  Table 1 describes each action.

Action Function
Start Starts a Function Block if it is not running.
Trigger Triggers a Capture Function Block that is waiting for a trigger.  The Stop and Trigger tab for the Capture Function Block must have either the expression or manual trigger mode selected.
Save Saves the data collected from a Capture Function Block.
Stop Stops a Function Block if it is running.
Call Starts a Function Block and waits at this step until that Function Block is complete.

The second parameter points to the Function Block to perform the action on.
