Function Block Command: Clear Stats

Basics:
The "Clear Stats" command resets statistical information for received messages.  This command has no effect on transmit message statistics.

Details:
Clicking the Value cell opens a dialog (Figure 1) to select which receive messages to clear.  Messages can be cleared on all networks, on one network, or one message at a time.  One of the important uses for Clear Stats is to reset the message Present flag.  This way the same message can be looked for more than once.

Figure 2: The Clear Stats in step 2 clears the message Present flag for the receive message.  This forces step 3 to wait until the message is received again.
