Data Analysis

Use Data Analysis as a powerful tool to analyze collected data files.  Open the tool using Vehicle Spy main menu Measurement->Data Analysis.  Data files can come from a variety of sources including buffer files, log files, and Function Block Capture files.  All of these data files are typically found in the current user's Data Directory.

Areas in Data Analysis

The Data Analysis view (Figure 1) has three partitions separated by the adjustable divider bars circled in blue.  The upper left partition is where data files and channels within those files are selected.  The upper right partition displays plots of the selected channels.  The bottom partition contains a table listing all data points in the selected channels.

Your toolbar layout probably looks different than what is shown in Figure 1.  Notice there are two vertical lines "||" on the left side at the the start of each toolbar.  These "||" lines can be clicked, dragged, and dropped to move toolbars to locations of your choice.

The numbered areas in Figure 1 indicate various features found in Data Analysis.  Table 1 below gives a listing and brief description for each numbered area in Figure 1.  Click on an area name in Table 1 to see more help for that area.
