CoreMini Advanced Settings |
The Advanced Settings tab holds extra settings to configure CoreMini logging.
The first setting "Reserved memory for SDCard Logging" is the number of sectors of memory reserved to buffer incoming data. Lowering this value will increase the amount of space for scripts but decreases the message buffer for logging messages. If this value is lowered, there is a chance of the hardware dropping messages if the network traffic is too fast.
The "Reserved memory for J1939 Transport Protocol" option tells the number of bytes reserved for holding J1939 frames. This is used for assembling and decoding bam messages.
The default settings are recommended for best performance.
