A feature not common on low cost interfaces, isolation avoids issues with grounding or noise affecting your PC or communication with it. Then, ValueCAN is electrically hardened to survive an abusive environment including reverse battery and electrical transients. Quality is further enhanced by including a pin-out of the device right on the housing for easy access during wiring. Finally, this level of quality is backed up with a 1 year warranty.

High Performance

ValueCAN has been tested and verified to operate on high bandwidth CAN networks. This includes 100% utilization at 500 kbps and up to 80% continuous with 100% burst utilization at Mbps. High Level Protocols Supported

J1939, OBD2 on CAN, Keyword Protocol over CAN, UDS diagnostics, DeviceNet, and CANOpen are all compatible with ValueCAN. We offer cables for J1939 and automotive diagnostics on CAN.

Software Support: Turn-Key

With ValueCAN comes a copy of Vehicle Spy 3 Trial Edition. This program is a powerful vehicle bus analyzer for monitoring messages. Also provided is a ValueCAN explorer setup utility and a graphical bit time calculator.

The professional user will want to upgrade to the full Vehicle Spy 3 software. Vehicle Spy lets you filter traffic, decode message data, build scripts, simulate other nodes, and build graphical displays of your data.

For those of you that want to write your own applications, ValueCAN includes a DLL and helpful examples for Visual C++, Borland C++ Builder, LabWindows CVI, LabVIEW, Delphi, Excel and Visual Basic.
